This e-book is the culmination of more than five years of work coming together: hundreds of dives, hours of research, conducting interviews and sorting through thousands of images. The final result is a beautiful coffee table book with more than 100 carefully chosen images and a lot of easy-to-understand information and facts. The story of Fiji’s Shark Reef Marine Reserve is unique, and I am proud and happy to be spreading this great initiative into living rooms all around the world. Beqa Adventure Divers (BAD) in Fiji is by no means a conventional dive center. Besides providing incredible shark experiences with up to eight shark species, continuous advocacy and a self-sustaining ecotourism operation, their efforts led to the creation of Fiji‘s first National Marine Park, the Shark Reef Marine Reserve, in 2014.
