Shark Science in Fiji

Over the last years, Tom has extensively documented Fijian shark research and has himself published an open-access scientific paper on his research that he conducted in the country between 2015 and 2016. While still in its rather early stages, Fiji’s scientific data on its sharks, their utilisation and ecology is continuously growing. The acquired data helps decision-makers to adopt policies that aid conservation efforts within Fijian waters.
