Ocean Photographer Of The Year 2022 // I made it to the finals!

Very cool to have one of my images I took during the physioshark assignment in French Polynesia in 2019 as a finalist in the Human Connection Category of the 2022 Ocean Photographer of the Year Competition organised by Oceanographic.Although the image didn't place in the three first places, this recognition by arguably the most demanding jury of any photography competition in this space makes me quite proud. The members of the jury are among the very best storyteller in this space: Paul Nicklen, Cristina Mittermeier, Shawn Heinrichs, Andy Mann, David Doubilet and National Geographic's Deputy Director of Photography, Sadie Quarrier. Huge congratulations to the overall winner Ben Thouard and all other winners - some absolutely mind-blowing images in the winner galleries!
